Does the civil justice system meet the needs of ethnic minorities? When the Department for Constitutional Affairs (DCA) needed to find out, it turned to Today Translations for some important research. We identified participants, interviewed community and advisory professionals, and set up community discussions. Our findings gave the DCA insight for a new strategy for ethnic minorities, including specific products, services and staff training.
Office for National Statistics, UK Government - Translation and research
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is conducting the Labour Force Survey, looking at the employment status of people at sampled addresses. The ONS needed to present the survey better to people with little or no English. It turned to Today Translations for all translation and research for the UK’s Lithuanian community. The results helped the Government improve the presentation of the survey for the non-English-speaking community.
The National Archives - Interpreting, conference equipment and translation
When the National Archives needed linguistic services for their flagship conference, European Archives: Forming Partnerships in the Digital Age, it appointed Today Translations for interpreting, equipment, translation and production of the transcript in three languages (English, French and German). Simultaneous interpreters with knowledge of history and diplomatic affairs took the key information provided by our specialist journalist and translated using the latest Translation Memory solutions.

The Glamorgan Business School delivers its programmes internationally.
